The Great Production

I decided a long time ago (not long enough ago), that I choose to live my life as if it were an epic movie. God is my director, my composer, my screen writer.
Most people seem to think hes like a omniscient being that just gets a ticket to watch our lives. They do not see him when everything is going well, but when the movie takes a turn and the emotion and pain begins to well up they seem to forget that the audience cannot just jump in and fix the situation because they knew what a stupid decision was being made sooner. No matter how much he wants to help, he cannot, because they have not made him director!

You can choose to let God watch your life, or you can choose to let him direct it. Things will be better, life will be sweeter. There will be love, hope, and beauty written into your life in ways that only movies can make look so sweet, with all the graphics, and music and special effects. You can allow your life to be lived to its fullest potential, and with such beauty, or you can choose for your life to have hopelessness, sorrow, and confusion without the promise of beauty and fullness of life. God doesn’t want to watch you fail, he yearns to show you how to succeed. Life is going to have ups and downs, pain and hurt, and unexpected loss. It is how you respond to those things that will make all the difference.

Matthew 11:29

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

When Jesus comes back!!! Do we all just float on up?

There is a very very common theme among Christians I have noticed, and that is the belief that we are going to ascend to heaven as soon as the trumpets sound and Jesus, the messiah returns for his elect.

I want you guys to read this very well first, and then move on:

2 Peter 3:3-4

Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”

SO most of us know about the 144,000, the sealed from the 12 tribes of judea. They will be called up, as will those who are dead in christ.

1 Thesalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

Then revelation 7 describes a different group of people.

9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:

Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.

Someone asked who these folks were:

13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”

14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.15 Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b]
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]”

Interesting! If we are suppose to be raptured before the great tribulation, how could we be those who have come OUT of it?

The Trumpets

6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”

9 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2 When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3 And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes.6 During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

7 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8 Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. 9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. 11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).

12 The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come.

13 The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God. 14 It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. I heard their number.

17 The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. 18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. 19 The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.

20 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. 21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Pay CLOSE attention to what is marked in red. This is the great tribulation, yet those with the mark of God on their foreheads (which will be those with the blood of the lamb) are still here?

Moving on…

Revelation 10

New International Version (NIV)

The Angel and the Little Scroll

10 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. 2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. 4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

5 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. 6 And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! 7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”

8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

9 So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’[a]” 10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. 11 Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”

This rings a bell!!!! Back in 1 Corinthians:

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
This foretells when we will be changed in a flash. We must become the spotless bride of Christ.

2 Cor 5:2,4-5 (NIV)

Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling… For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened… to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

There is so much deception floating around. WHY? Because most choose to listen to what people think and say rather than read the bible itself. I URGE YOU to examine and read the scriptures daily with a renewed mind and a spirit led by the holy ghost. God will give you the truth if you seek it!!! Do not take my word for it, your friends or parents word for it, or even a mega church pastors word for it. In the end, we are all human. ONLY GOD HIMSELF can show us the truth. Also, please dont forget what it says at the end of the book of Revelation:

Revelation 22:18-19

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

God is unchanging, as is his true scripture.

I tell you all these things because in the end days, as jesus stated in my first scripture quotes, there will be scoffers. There will be those who will laugh and taunt as we did not ascend with the sealed. Christians whose faith is hanging by a thread, those that believed in watered down gospels and had no real understanding of what God had in store, they will be lost. Jesus also said that there is to be a great falling away before the end.

1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV)

4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils,

they will give themselves to seducing spirits (false doctrine!), and doctrines of devils. Wouldn’t it be a lot easier to give up your faith if you feel abandoned by the very ‘god’ you believed in the first place? I fear that those who fall prey to the watered down preaching of the bible will fall prey to this. I fear that many will believe the great deception that is not given quarter in the scriptures.

1 Thessalonians 5:21

But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;

My prayer for you all tonight is that you will examine all things carefully and you are led to the truth by God and the holy spirit. I pray that you will understand this and why I tell you this in such a way. I pray you will hold fast until the end so that you may be clothed in white and walk along side Jesus. I pray you will be given a peace that transcends all understanding during those trying times. In Jesus’s mighty name, amen.

Yes I am talking about sex!

Sex is highly, HIGHLY, glorified in this day and age. I guarantee that you have not gone a SINGLE day without seeing it or thinking about it every single day since you were old enough to know anything about it. It was a beautiful thing made by God to be between a man and woman in order to procreate. We were blessed to have it also bring us pleasure and excitement from it. We have definitely take it above and beyond that, and we capitalize off of it, we make it the image, we make it the star. SEX is all anyone cares about now. You cannot have a successful television program or commercial without it being in there in some way anymore. Breast feeding, people hugging each other, and even FOOD has been sexualized. I personally believe that sex has become a form of idolatry. There is pressure on everyone to look sexy, and BE sexy.  Worst of all, there are careers in it. A business that capitalizes off of exploiting women, and men, and in some cases CHILDREN!!!!

Galatians 5:19

Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,

We need to understand that this is not ok! I was treated as a sexual object my whole life, from earlier on in life than most people should know about sex. As women, we need to understand that feeling that way, and being treated that way is NOT OK. As men, you need to understand that women are much more than sexual beings.  We also need to understand that anything we put before God is NOT OK!!!! If you are having sex before marriage, you are putting it before God. If you are looking at porn, you are putting it before God. If you masturbate more than you read the word, you are putting it before God. If you watch shows that are sexual in nature and portraying sinful sexual acts, you are putting it before God. It is very simple.

1 Corinthians 3:16 ESV / 7 helpful votes

Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?

You cannot be a lover of God, and a lover of sexual immorality. YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS. I’ve been there and I have felt the pain and the shame that sin causes. I have been there and felt degraded and worth nothing more than my sexual appeal. Only God can free you from your shame if you repent. You may never say it out loud, but there is a pain you receive as a child of God when you break his laws. If you claim to love God, if you claim to follow him, and yet you are being sexually immoral, you will NOT enter the kingdom.

1 Corinthians 6:9

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,

Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Now I have heard from people that “pornography is not wrong because you are not actually having sex with anyone.” I know better however, I know that behind pornography is every work of the flesh. I know what Jesus tells me on this matter as well.

Matthew 5:28

But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

So in a world TEEMING with sex and slander around every corner, how do we go on as Christians? How do we resist!?

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

The answer to that was pretty clear cut to me. Be faithful to God, and he will be faithful and provide a way of escape so that you will not yield to temptation. I may sound old fashioned, but I know that I am right. Save yourselves for the marriage bed. If you feel you have already committed sexual immorality, make yourselves new in Christ and do not defile your body again.

2 Corinthians 7:1

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Marry for love and wait for your wedding night.

Hebrews 13:4

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Devote your love and your time to Jesus, to doing his will. Have a heart for him and all things will be right.

Romans 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Those who know my background have called me a hypocrite, but you know what? I am not. If I were preaching this 2 years ago, I would have been, but I am living proof that God can change you, God can heal your wounds, your hearts, and your sins. God can make you feel worth something again.

My prayer for you today is that you will be convicted on this, that sex and lust will no longer hold more of you than God himself. that he will guide you away from temptation and into his loving arms. I pray that you will read the word daily and gain new understanding of our God, his love, and his commandments, and that he will give you the spirit to obey them. In Jesus Christs holy name, AMEN,

2 Corinthians 4:8-9

We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;

Philippians 4:12-13

I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

1 Peter 5:10

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Proverbs 3:4-6

So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Romans 8:28

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

James 1:2-4

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

2 Chronicles 15:7

But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.”

Romans 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity

God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity: Romans 1:18-32

I may offend you, but I love you none the less. We are to be honest with eachother as brothers and sisters in christ so bear with me as I break down a very very important chapter in Romans.

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

  • Everyone around us, in and out of the church have been supressing truth by wickedness. It is all around! We have been manipulating the bible and its words to mean what we want it to mean, to help us believe what we want to believe and feel good about it. Those who do not call themselves christians, and even some who do will excuse foolishness and impurity by telling us not to judge them, by saying it is none of our buisness. ITS MY LIFE is the worst excuse I have ever seen. I know people personally who have every reason to love, adore, and believe in God, yet they slander him, disobey him, live their lives in sin and glorify it at every turn. Some do this and all the while they call themselves christians. God knows our hearts and he knows what we have put before him. He knows the things we think and the things we say in our drunkenness late into the night.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

  • I know those who loved God before, they had every reason to. He had shown his love to them numerous times, saving them, answering their prayers, and keeping them from harm. When push came to shove, he received no glory, no love, no offering. When they were all caught up in life and the happiness they had, they slowly began to believe that this life was theirs, that they accomplished all of it through works, in and of themselves. I was like this once before too. Then they begin to shift focus, and though it may not seem like people today are making graven images, is following a celebrities every move instead of following Gods word not “making graven images”? We have more pictures of ourselves and our children in our homes than we have memorized verses of Gods word. We read “”in touch weekly” and follow our favorite TV series and know it better than we do the next fulfilled prophecy that we were told by GOD himself to watch for. We have thanked our superiors at work, the people who distribute processed food, and our waitresses at the restaurant more than we have thanked our lord and savior, and when “we” do, it is usually a mockery!

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

  • Am I wrong when I say sex is GLORIFIED in today’s world? You cannot walk through a school yard without seeing at least one YOUNG girl dressed up in the least modest clothes available. Children, yes CHILDREN, like 9-12 are having as much sex as adults. At every mall and on almost every billboard we have engraved images of half naked women and shirtless men for sex appeal. Sex appeal has been everything in this nation. It has made young girls ashamed of who they are and what they look like, it has created a false understanding for boys on how to see women! I would even go as far to say that it has a lot to do with the increased rate of rape and sexual assault in this country and others. Sick people will always do sick things, but those sick things are being made “common place” and even accepted in some places.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

  • Threesomes, orgies, having sex with men and women alike, sodomy, open marriages, are these things not accepted? Now here is the most controversial of them all in today world: Homosexuality! Now I am personally close with many homosexual men. Some who no longer allow themselves to live in sin and giving their lives and bodies to God instead. Now I am not here to argue whether or not people who are Gay can help it, I am here to say that men who commit shameful acts with other men have indeed received in themselves penalty for their error. It is inside them, it is a fight, a battle unlike anything a person who is not tempted in that way can understand. I understand this as the reason that a mans life cannot be a normal one if he is born feeling that attraction. I know that it is in their hearts, and God will deal with what is there. However, the bible states clearly that the ACT of having sexual relations with someone of the same sex is against his law, so again, that is between them and God, I will not persecute, but I will not condone.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

  • Furthermore, they all no longer feel guilt for what they are doing. The guilt is gone because they have pushed the holy spirit so far away in their sin that they are beyond his whispers. There is still hope, but only when they repent and allow the holy spirit to move in themselves once more. Look at the verse above, and tell me you do not know at least ONE person who lives in sin in these ways? It is all around us! We are close to the end and their stubbornness will be their poison. I urge you, no BEG YOU all who read this to repent, to lead others to God and to repentance, if you love them, and you should, you need to help save them. We are given too much power in Christ for us to waste it by keeping it to ourselves. What are we if not VESSELS of the living God? How are we doing anything for God if we live in shame for being who we are? We are not to shy away from this immorality as if it has over taken the world and there is no help against it… we are to FIGHT it with everything we have!!!! Don’t let go, turn the word of God lose and shamelessly help bring these lost sheep back to God. We are in a day and age where this sin has become so common place that our children will not know better. It is up to us to change that. Don’t give up, don’t quit trying because I love every one of you, and every one of them and I will not stop until I have helped put as many names in the lambs book of life as I can. I will not wait around and let persecution and hatred stop me. Satan has no hold on me and I will pray intensely that if he has a hold on you that it will be broken in JESUS NAME!!! I might not know you, but I love you. I may not see your heart, but I know that I want it to belong to God. Only with your heart where it needs to be can you feel the full pull and strength of Gods love, mercy, and kindness.

There is hope, a hope only made possible by Jesus Christ who was sent by our living GOD to save our souls from the pain of eternal damnation. GOD WOULD NOT SEE ONE, ONE!!! OF US DIE!!!! It is we who do that to ourselves. He has given us hope after hope, chance after chance, and he HAS revealed himself, and will again. Do not fool yourselves, do yourselves a favor and fall into his arms now, don’t fight it any longer. He loves us, and is storing up our treasures in heaven for the good we do in his name as we speak. What do you have to lose if you choose to follow God is not the question, its what do you Gain if you follow God, and what you lose if you continue to live in sin and not to speak out to those around you who are living in sin. its very simple, what you need to do is pick up your bible, pick up your heart and get on your knees. Repent of your sin and turn from that path. Ask for Jesus to come into your heart and soul and cleanse you from yourself. “Self” is the holy spirits enemy. You cannot love God and live for “self”.  I urge you to eliminate your selfish desires, your worldly understanding, and follow him, love him, trust him, and ALL ELSE will fall into place. you will live a life of meaning and happiness unlike anything you have ever experienced. I promise you, Just let. GO.

My prayer for you today is that you will be able to let go, to give your all and all to christ. he is the way, the truth and the light and your only way into heaven. I pray you will run from sin and the hold it has on you, I pray for those around you, that they may see your changed soul and they may follow suit and join you in heaven as well. I pray that this message will not pass you by, that it will consume your thoughts so when you see these things you will know to fight them, to run from temptation and fight for all that is GOOD! I pray that this country will repent and abandon its sin and doubt and allow God to return this country to its former glory. I pray you will live out your life with the peace and love of Jesus Christ coursing through you; making you feel the love I want you all to feel and understand. In Jesus mighty name, AMEN.

Again, I love you. I do not condemn you, I LOVE YOU. Just as JESUS LOVES YOU AND GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU!!! Never forget that.

Are you a sheep or a Goat?

Are we saved through works? NO! We are saved by grace so that NONE may boast!!! Does that mean that once we are saved we just get a free ride through life? HECK NO!!!! Ponder this story from the bible:

Matthew 25:31-46

The Sheep and the Goats

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

This wont be a very long post because this parable says it all!!!!! Would you rather be a sheep or a goat? I know what I would want to be….. Remember, even the smallest act of kindness makes you exalted in Gods eyes. The more you do for the least of these, the more you do for him. He also sees your heart though… so do not give for selfish gain, or hold back because you would rather keep your money for the finer things….. God knows what, when, and why you do what you do,….

When I stand before the lord at the gates of heaven, I hope that he will say “well done”.

John 13:34-35

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

God says to love one another as he loved us. He loved us by sacrificing his only son! What are YOU holding back that is TOO important to give to God? What are you keeping from him? He keeps nothing from those who love him, so how are we to love him if we are not willing to give up EVERYTHING for him, and everyone else on this earth.

Remember, in the great scheme of things, this life holds NOTHING for us of great value…. this society worships paper money and contracts more than it does the everlasting God who created each and every one of us. So just think about that….. What are you holding back? Why wait any longer? Is it worth it?

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

A Godly Wife: Submission?! REALLY?!

1 Corinthians 11:3

But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.

I began my post with that verse because it is often misinterpreted as meaning that the wife is lowly and subject to her husband. When we think of “submission” in todays world, women all around the world flip out as if it were a curse word.  Its as if the word “submission” has been modernly defined as “abuse”.

This is really not the case. I am all for a STRONG, POWERFUL woman!!!! I also believe that once married, the strength of a woman is defined by how well she cares for her family and leads her family through Godly example. In a good, strong marriage, the husband would take control of his roles. He will lead his family through spiritual warfare, he will comfort them in trouble, and will be the primary example to the entire family in their walk with God. The husband will be respectful and understanding of his wife, and will ALSO SUBMIT to her!!!! (That part is often left out when men make the point for submission)

1 Peter 3:7

7 Husbands, likewise, submit by living with your wife in ways that honor her, knowing that she is the weaker partner. Honor her all the more, as she is also a coheir of the gracious care of life. Do this so that your prayers won’t be hindered.

Even that verse would be enough to anger today’s feminists…. but lets be HONEST LADIES!!!! Unless we are Giant  and shooting up testosterone and steroids, or if we married a man who is really truly minuscule, we ARE the weaker partner. Unless you have a heart of stone, we are also emotionally and psychologically weaker as well! Not to mention once a month we get a dose of hormones that get us unraveled in all sorts of ways. Now there are exceptions to every case, so I cannot speak for everyone, but generally, the wife really is weaker than a man. We are also stronger than men in many aspects, but that is not what this verse is getting at. When it says “weaker” it makes sense to me in a way that does not insult me. I take it to mean what we already know: many men emotionally break us down. They have no respect or understanding that they just cannot say and do the things that they do!!! Women are angry at men today because they treat us with GREAT disrespect. They use “weak” in a different sense, as if it makes us inferior to them. Honestly ladies, what I’m getting at is this: Women are unique creatures made by God to complete a man. We are our husbands other halves. We are stronger in some ways, and weaker in others. It is like they say “opposites attract”. We have roles made for us and we have to be happy to fulfill them, and we must be encouraging and understanding of each others weakness with respect and love.

1 Corinthians 11:8-9

For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.

Here it shows that we were made for men. Honestly, the way I see it, is that this gives us the advantage! God created us to be companions for men. We are to be their better half, their help, their ROCK!!! Likewise, we were made for man, and so he must honor and respect Gods good gift to him. He must lead his family through life and treat them with LOVE and respect, just as Jesus did for his bride, the church.

So what really makes a submissive wife you may ask? It means to give your husband the role of “leader” and encourage him in it. Now there is a fine line between this and becoming a doormat. As we are human, we see things in black and white, and often times its hard for men to understand how this works unless they are truly men of God.  Now if your husband says “go get me a beer woman” and you cower as he stares you down, that is when you may want to start standing up for yourself, but if your husband asks you not to go shopping every weekend and spend hundreds of dollars and you say “YOU CANT CONTROL ME!!!!” you need to take a good look at yourself because you are not in a marriage, you are doing something entirely different.

Now when I came into my own marriage I had a few “daddy issues” so to speak. I was abused as a child, in different ways, and I did NOT want a MAN telling me what to do!!!! I made it perfectly clear that I was going to do what I wanted and he had no say in anything. I had a separate bank account, my own job, separate friends, my own life outside the marriage, which isn’t always a bad thing, but this was to an extreme!!! I wasn’t just “separate” from my marriage, I wasn’t even IN a marriage! I would go out at night and leave my husband alone almost every night. He would speak out sometimes against me doing my thing and I would fly off the handle entirely because I did NOT want to be tied down.

One night I made quite a few mistakes that led me to searching myself, the bible, and God for what it meant to be married, what it meant to have a husband and be a wife. That was the best thing I have ever done. It was extremely difficult to change myself, and to live with my changes even though my husband was unsaved at the time and making it very very hard to be the “submissive” wife I wanted to be. He did not understand what It meant to lead, and not CONTROL. It was all about control. To both of us, for a very long time. For years. I did not give up though. I was saved and I refused to give that up. I became the leader in my submission. I became the head of household for a time because I was holding on to the holy spirit. Now this might confuse you, because I wasn’t perfect either. I had a lot of work being done on me by God. God had been slowly changing ALL of me. Molding and shifting my very personality! I was more and more submissive, and strong as the days went by. Slowly I had to learn to relinquish control, to my husband also, but mostly to God. That is the true meaning of submission in my life, I SUBMIT IT ALL TO THE LORD. It took a while but eventually my husband caught on to what was happening within me. He has his own story that I hope one day he will come on here and tell, but he began to allow the lord to work in him as well! Pretty soon “submission” wasn’t that difficult for either of us anymore. We took our roles that God gave us and we learned to respect those, and each others. It took time, and quite a few clashes, but GOD did all the work.

1 Peter 3

Wives, likewise, submit to your own husbands. Do this so that even if some of them refuse to believe the word, they may be won without a word by their wives’ way of life. 2 After all, they will have observed the reverent and holy manner of your lives. 3 Don’t try to make yourselves beautiful on the outside, with stylish hair or by wearing gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Instead, make yourselves beautiful on the inside, in your hearts, with the enduring quality of a gentle, peaceful spirit. This type of beauty is very precious in God’s eyes. 5 For it was in this way that holy women who trusted in God used to make themselves beautiful, accepting the authority of their own husbands. 6 For example, Sarah accepted Abraham’s authority when she called him master. You have become her children when you do good and don’t respond to threats with fear.

With all that said, I think my point is pretty clear: GOD needs to be front and center in your life, your husbands life, and your marriage. If he is not, then its going to be pretty difficult for you in the long run. I can tell you all from experience that it is wonderful to have such a harmonious and respectful marriage. Now I’m not saying things are PERFECT, we are all human and we all make mistakes, but it is how you turn those mistakes around that matter. My husband and I have not gone to bed angry in over a year and I know that it has been because of God. When you give your life to God, give your marriage to him to, and watch while he works wonders in your life, your husbands life, and at the very heart of your family!

My prayer for you today is that you will allow God to take over your life, over your marriage, and teach you the REAL meaning of submission. I pray that you will not pass this message by without allowing the holy spirit to touch you in your heart. Your life and your marriage is too important and I pray that you will give it gladly to him. I pray that you will be given peace during trials, and hope during your times of doubt. I pray that the lord will walk with you wherever you are and wherever you go, so that you will always know his love and kindness. I pray you will pick up the sword of truth and never let it go because in it, is Gods truth, and help to get you through any problem and trial. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Proverbs 31:26-31

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. …
